How to read your FundReadi Report

A walk through every part of your report, from the readiness score and funding range to the action items ledger and lender tiers, and what each one is asking you to do.

Walkthrough · 5 min read · Updated

Your FundReadi Report has two layers. The first is the summary on My Funding: a headline, a short assessment, your score, range and stage, the criteria grid, your action items and your lender tiers. It is published the moment the analysis finishes. The second is the full written report, which expands every one of those figures into the reasoning behind it. The full report never changes a number the summary already gave you; it explains it.

This walkthrough takes the summary top to bottom.

Key takeaways

  • The readiness score is our read of your file, not a lender's decision, and it moves when your file moves.
  • The funding range is an estimate of what your file supports, never an offer of credit.
  • Action items are a ledger. Completed items stay on it forever, so your progress is always visible.
  • Lender tiers are ordered by what you can pursue now, after one fix, and after you reach Ready.

The headline and the assessment

The headline is one sentence with the most consequential fact on your file and how many moves stand between you and the next stage. The paragraph under it is the assessment: your strongest bureau, your account age, your payment history, and the constraint holding you below the next tier. Read the assessment first. If it names one card, one collection, or one gap, that is where the rest of the report is pointing.

The readiness score

The score runs from 0 to 100 and describes how your file reads to a funding underwriter today: payment history, revolving utilization, account age, new accounts, inquiries and public records all move it. Bands: 90 to 100 reads as Ready, 75 to 89 as Almost Ready, below 75 as Not Ready.

Two things it is not. It is not your credit score; those are the VantageScore 3.0 figures shown per bureau on My Credit. And it is not a decision by any lender. Lenders read accounts, and a higher score means little if the file still looks risky to an underwriter, which is why the assessment always names the specific account or item behind the number.

The funding range

The range is an estimate of the unsecured credit your file could support across the products in your lender tiers, sized from your revolving limits and adjusted for utilization, recent lates, collections and missing bureau data. Read the caption on it: an estimate from your file, not an offer of credit.

When an eligibility gate is tripped, the range shows as locked. The report still tells you the figures the file would support once the gate clears, and it names exactly what clears it. A locked range with the unlock path is more useful than a number you cannot reach yet.

The funding stage

Discover, Build, Optimize, Ready. The stage is the readiness score translated into where you are on the path: below 55 is Discover, 55 to 74 is Build, 75 to 89 is Optimize, 90 and above is Ready. Tier 3 in your lender tiers unlocks at Ready, which is why the stage sits next to the range.

The criteria grid

Four rows, each with your value, the target, and whether you meet it: your personal score on the strongest bureau, your reported monthly debt load, derogatory marks in the last twelve months, and your primary revolving accounts with their average age. The debt row is labeled either as an estimate from your reported payments and limits or, when you have told us your income band, as a stated figure. A credit file carries no income, so the label tells you which one you are looking at.

Action items

This is the part of the report you act on, and it works as a ledger. Every analysis adds items in order of leverage: the biggest lift for the least effort first. Each item says what to do, why it matters on your file, a timeline, and the impact you can expect in plain words.

Items you complete stay on the ledger, marked done, on every analysis after that. That is deliberate. Completed items are the record of what you did, and a new analysis will also mark an item complete on its own when your file shows it (the balance came down, the collection stopped reporting, the inquiry seasoned past 90 days). Check items off on My Funding as you finish them; the full report shows the same list read-only.

On a business journey, at least one item is tied to unlocking the next capital category, with the specific floor named.

Lender tiers

Three tiers, each with two or three products from our curated lender database for your state, and a note on the bureau that decides for them.

Tier 1 is what you can pursue now. Tier 2 opens after the one fix the note names, usually a utilization paydown or a resolved item. Tier 3 opens at Ready and shows as locked until then. Where a product's minimum score or typical limit is not published in our database, the note says so and tells you to call ahead; we never fill a blank with a guess. Products are named exactly as they appear in the database, so you can find them.

On a business journey, Tier 3 may name a capital category rather than a product when the category is gated by your revenue or time in business.

The full report

On Premium and Upload plans, the full written report arrives a few minutes after the summary. It carries the bureau-by-bureau snapshot, the evidence behind each risk, the week-by-week milestone plan, the reasoning behind every lender in your tiers, the bureau strategy, and the reconsideration guidance. The one-line pointer under the summary tells you what the full report adds for your file specifically.

When the report re-runs

An analysis runs when your file has something new to analyze: after the monthly refresh, when an alert lands, or when you update your business questionnaire or your profile. Running the same data twice would give you the same answer, so the button waits for a change.

Open My Funding, read the assessment, and start with the first open action item.
